Job Description
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Engineering or relevant field.
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer, System/Network Administrator or similar role.
JOB PURPOSE
To Provide electrical and electronic engineering services to Ras Al Khaimah International Airport to ensure the continuous availability and operation of all operational systems and equipment for ATC.
The position requires being part of shift keeping team to cover 24-hour shift duties of electronics department.
The position requires immediate responsibility for maintaining the ATC electronic systems in an operational status and in effecting repair or substitution in the event of failure.
- Internationally recognized diploma and/or a higher diploma in electronic engineering (3 years of study) or similar.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in air traffic radar, radar display systems, data processing systems, communication systems, V/UHF transceivers and operational aviation/navigational systems.
- Associate Degree in Fire Science and ten (10) years of firefighting experience out of which five years as RFFS trainer required. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- ICAO/NFPA Instructor I and Safety Officer Certification required.
- Fire Officer II certification is preferred.
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum of high school education & Fluent in the English language (both spoken and written).
- Minimum three years of experience as Sub Officer in CAT 9 Airport.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Industrial/Behavioural Science or related qualification.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a learning and development environment Work experience in aviation as well as exposure to GCAA regulations would be advantageous Prior experience of implementing the learning and development cycle. Good understanding and experience with lean methodology as well as the use of various quality-improvement tools such as value stream mapping, process analysis, workflow documentation, data gathering and statistical analysis.
- Completion of Secondary education ( 12 years) followed by 2 years' formal training or apprenticeship in the electrical trade
- 2 years experience in GSE & Automobile field
- Ability to learn things fast and implement them.
- English and Arabic skills are an added advantage
