female Indian citizens for filling up 104 vacancies allotted in following
sports disciplines for the post of Rifleman / Riflewoman (General Duty) under
Sports Quota recruitment in Assam Rifles for the year 2022. Ministry of Home Affairs,

1. The Candidates Must have age between 18 to 23 years. Candidates
should have not been born earlier than 01 Aug 1994 and later than 01 Aug 2004.
2. For SC & ST candidates: 18-33 years as on 01 Aug
2022. Candidates should have not been born earlier than 01 Aug 1989 and later
than 01 Auq 2004.
Essential Education Qualification
Matriculation from a recognised board ( SSLC ).
Sports Qualifications
Players who have participated in any international
Competition/ National Competitions/ lnter - University Tournaments/ National Sports/
Games for Schools National award winner in National Physical Efficiency Drive
Sports Discipline

Application Fee.
Fee structure and other details are as follows: -
(a) Fee Structure. The General and OBC category candidates
will pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 100/- (Rupees one hundred only).
(b) The fee will be deposited online by the candidates into
SBI Current Account No. 37088046712 in favour of Recruitment Branch, HQ DGAR,
Shillong - 793010 payable at SBI HQ DGAR Laitkor Branch IFSC Code - S81N0013883.
(c) No fee is charged from candidates belonging to Schedule
Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Female candidates.
Important Dates
Last date of receipt of applications from eligible
candidates for Assam Rifles Meritorious Sportspersons Quota Recruitment Rally
2022 is 30 Apr 2022.
Applications will be accepted through online mode only. The
online application SERVER will start functioning from 26 Mar 2022.
The Recruitment Rally will be held at Headquarters Inspector
General Assam Rifles (South), Mantripukri (Manipur).
The Recruitment Rally is tentatively schedule with effect
from 04 Jul 2022 onwards depend upon COVID pandemic situation, the exact date
of reporting at rally site will be mentioned in calling letters.
How to Apply
1. To apply, fill up the online application by clicking on 'ONLINE APPLICATION" option on the official web page.
2. The candidates will fill the requisite details as prescribed in the application form.
3. After filling up the
application, the candidates have the option to make online payment via link
given for online payment or alternatively the payment can be made at any SBI
counters as well. In both the options the candidate will have to upload copy of
the challan or receipt online.
